Cha Cha Changes....

This is my first blog post of the nEw yEar, and with the new year you can expect a few chaNges... first of all you may have noticed the new blog "look" (It's a work in progress) second, I have changed my email address to andiwatkins@live.com so please change it in your contact lists. (the other address is my personal one, which I will be keeping.. just please send all photography inquiries to the new one:) and third, I am changing some of my pricing.... I know I know, nobody likes to hear that, BUT.. I have always tried to keep my pricing affordable, so its not going to be a drastic change. Pretty much the only things that are changing are babies and family pictures... because, lets face it... they are a lot more work. I will be offering "mini-sessions" next fall for an alternative to families just wanting a pic for their Christmas card. The sessions will be a half hour session, with a group shot only. I will let you know more about that when the time comes. As for those of you who have already booked sessions or discussed pricing with me, you will still be able to get the old pricing. Whew!... I think that's it for now, so on to the fun stuff... I just got back from San Francisco, here are some of my favorite shots...

Since this is my very last blog post of the year, I would like to take the time to thank all of the amazing clients Ive had this year, I've had a great year and I loved working with each of you. I am so lucky to be able to do what I love, and I appreciate all your support.
I am off to California first thing in the morning and will be out of the office for about 10 days... but when I return I will be right back to posting.... so for now enjoy this adorable family who until very recently was full of hunky boys... but are now so blessed with their precious baby girl. I hope you all have a happy and safe new year...

Sweet Baby Harley

Meet my new baby niece Harley Hokulani Winder. My Brother and Sister-in-law just adopted her. Harley is the full blood sister to their adopted son Ekika. We are all so happy for them, I know they have wanted a baby girl for so long... now their family is complete. Congratulations guys, she is an absolute angel! Stay tuned as I will be posting the rest of the family pictures soon.

and for the rest of you, here is a sneak peek at the Matilda Jane Clothing "PhOto LOve" contest I am competing in... If you are a fan on facebook, you probably already know about the Matilda Jane contest, if not than I will tell you....

Last month I found out I was one of the few photographers chosen to compete in the Matilda Jane "PhOto LOve" contest. They mailed all the contestants the same dress in different sizes, We were to shoot the dress in our individual styles and send in only one picture. ONE! That seriously was the hardest part!! Matilda Jane will then narrow it down to 15 finalists. Next, it's up to yOu to vote for the winner. They will be posting all the submissions on their blog soon... I will keep you posted.

It's an honor for me to have even made it this far, there are some amazing photographers participating... I am so thrilled to be put in the same category as them, cross your fingers for me that I make it to the finals!!! YAY! I am SO excited, I cant even stand it!!!
